I first went to Angelo David Salon the week before my wedding when my long-time stylist, colorist, and hair extension specialist had to cancel due to a family emergency. So I was desperate and needed a cut, color, and hair extensions very last minute. Having worked in beauty PR, specifically with celebrity hairstylists and top salons in NY & LA, I tend to have very high expectations and had heard his name. The team at Angelo David Salon could not have been more professional, accommodating, personable, and most importantly sympathetic to my particular situation. That very day they moved schedules around to fit me in for highlights and to match my color for hair extensions. Usually, you have to order the hair at least 2 weeks ahead of time but bc of my wedding less than a week away they pulled strings, moved schedules around, etc in order to get the right extensions for me the very next day! Angelo himself personally matched my color, rushed the extensions, and not only oversaw all my services but cleared time in his obviously demanding schedule to cut my hair himself. The results were simply stunning… I got compliments and questions everywhere I went. I could not be more thankful for all Angelo and his team did for me… a brand new client they never met before and had no relationship with. My hair could not have been more perfect. I’m forever grateful and would highly recommend them. It was obvious in my results and talking to Angelo his knowledge, talent and expertise is on a level with the very top stylists/ salons - especially hair extensions, wigs, thinning hair, etc.

I recently had the pleasure of getting a haircut at Angelo David Salon, and I honestly cannot say enough good things about the experience. For someone who avoids frequent haircuts, in light of a few unfortunate trims elsewhere, I have never felt more comfortable in a salon than I did at Angelo David! Situated on Madison and 48th street, this location has earned praise for color services, couture hair extensions, toppers, and wigs.
At first glance, I was impressed by the universal level of professionalism amongst the staff and the glamorous appearance of the space itself. My hairstylist put any initial anxieties to rest with her kind demeanor, attentive listening, and helpful ideas. Per her suggestion, she cut clean long layers to preserve the illusion of length and sharp angles to frame and mature my face. In one appointment, she transformed my hair from feeling heavy and dead to voluminous and healthy; I could not be happier! Not only was I thrilled with the results, but I was impressed with the quality of the service, specifically how friendly and considerate my consultant was.
The price was extremely fair compared to the typical cost of a haircut in Manhattan, and after seeing the professional “before-and-after” photos, it was worth every penny. Angelo David Salon is the only place I’ll ever go again for a monthly trim or a beach-wave blowout for my next big social event.

I took my sister in to get a wig at Angelo David Salon because she was preparing to lose her hair from chemotherapy. Carlos and Angelo were so sensitive, caring, and professional. the salon provides private rooms for consults and fittings that created a safe, comfortable environment for her during an extremely difficult time. They have many wig options and the quality of their wigs was amazing. The wig genuinely looked like her own natural hair. Carlos took so much time working with my sister, we never felt anything but extremely comfortable and pleased with the professionalism from my first phone contact and, throughout our entire experience. I highly recommend this salon. I can’t say enough positive things!! Carlos also offered options for my sister's other main concern what do I do as my hair grows in? he suggested extensions that can be done as hair begins to grow in. That option made my sister feel even more at ease. Carlos was a miracle to us, as the thought of losing her hair was extremely frightening to her!! The Angelo David Salon can completely take care of this part of the battle
with cancer and that is an absolutely wonderful gift!!

By far the most amazing salon in NYC! Angelo, Carlos, and the entire staff are caring and professional. I started going to them 10 years ago when my daughter who has alopecia needed a wig and we wanted something quality and natural. ( she was 21). Angelo and his staff could not have been more accommodating or caring! Fast forward ( we’ve been with them since for her hairpieces) I was diagnosed with cancer and had to go thru chemo… again, the most amazing, caring, and professional treatment! My hair started to thin this year due to hormonal changes but mostly due to post-surgery trauma. Doctors weren't helping or they were suggesting toxic solutions like Rogaine. I googled "hairstylist specializing in fine hair and found Angelo David Hair Salon. I booked a consultation via WhatsApp with Carlos. He was warm, friendly, and took the time to listen to my concerns about my hair. We made an appointment and I went in this past Monday. They've taken every precaution regarding Covid- taking your temperature, everyone was wearing masks, there was only one other client in the salon, and we were seated very far apart. I had a consultation with Carlos who then consulted with the stylist - Rita- to make sure we were all on the same page regarding my haircut and my color. Nothing was pushed on me- it was all very collaborative and caring. I felt so taken care of and listened to. If anybody's had thinning hair you know how emotional it can be.
This is the best haircut I've had in years. Rita is amazing and she also fixed my color. I'd been dying my hair at home during Covid and letting the grays come in and it was a mess.
She gave me a stylish and cool haircut which is what I'd asked for. The layering is beautiful, it's easy to maintain, it feels so much healthier, and I finally feel like myself again. It was worth every penny and I won't go anywhere else going forward.
